Post #8 censorship

I'm willing to bet we have all heard a swear word in our life and I'm willing to bet even more that we have heard a "bleep" of a censored word. The topic I chose to cover is censorship because Yelawolf is a rapper and as we all know there aren't many rappers who don't swear a whole ton it's just part of the culture.

After doing a bit of research not surprisingly there is a very large amount of people who are against censorship and then there are a small amount of people who are for it after researching into it a bit I have found it is very hard to find someone who is for
censorship but I did my best however.

The first article I found is an article from the Huffington post entitled. "Anti-censorship manifesto" it talks about how censorship is most commonly associated with a dictatorship. And how journalists are killed each year or are put in prison. A number as high as 155 journalists a year are killed to be muffled to stop from revealing the truth. Of course this is another type of censorship entirely but still all in all. Censorship is censorship. Ether it be censorship of the media or censorship of the truth censorship is censorship and there is no way around that.

It took me literally forever to find something that is pro-censorship...but I did it. I found an organization known as the American family association, their goal is to make life as squeaky clean as possible and to make it faker then fake. In the article they talk about how they plan to make radio indecency go away.

In the article they explain how they want the FCC to crack down on radio stations that accidentally let a cuss word slip. And how they only want they state how they want you to immediately report an incident to the FCC because it is harmful for our children's impressionable minds to have to hear such filth.

All in all my opinion on censorship is its down right blasphemous and I won't stand for it and Christopher reeves won't sit for it neither. That was an Eminem quote...I thought it would fit here. But For real I do not believe in censorship at all. It is a violation of our 1st. Amendment for Pete's sake, I mean come on!
